A few words from our CEO, Jill Nadison
REED started with a personal but mighty need: the shared desire of a small group of parents who were eager to find the right education for their children with autism. That desire planted the seed for REED Academy, which started with four students and has grown into a leading school for individuals with autism. In the past 15 years, we’ve expanded to include early intervention services for our youngest learners, and day programming for adults with autism over age 21.
Our students and adults deserve the best education, care and opportunities. Through the generous contributions of donors, we can provide the latest technology for students and staff. We can secure safe transportation into the community, which is both essential and expensive. We can continue to take our 360° approach to building life skills beyond the classroom, outfitting our gym with fitness equipment and providing swim instruction, a crucial survival skill. We can continue to give staff the resources they need to make sure an individualized curriculum for every student is always available.
Donor support allows us to be on the forefront of top-notch, innovative programs for individuals with autism. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do all that we do. Without you, the children and adults in our programs wouldn’t be able to accomplish what they do.
