Jill Nadison, CEO & Executive Director


Jill oversees the vision and leadership for the REED Foundation for Autism, including REED Academy and REED Next, and its affiliated social enterprise  businesses. She has been the Executive Director of REED Academy since 2012, and prior to that, served on the Board of Directors. In 2016, with the support and inspiration from the Board of Directors, Jill and her team incubated the seeds which have grown into the REED Foundation for Autism, expanding the organization’s reach to assist those living with autism from diagnosis through adulthood.


Jill has 25 years of experience in leadership and management in both the private and non- profit sectors. She believes that while creativity and new ideas are catalysts for change, it is innovative thinking and respectful collaboration that solves any problem.


Prior to REED, she worked at Symantec, a high-tech company based in California, where she managed internal global events, served as part of the marketing team for a start-up incubator project and was an integral member on a global “Change Management” team. Before Symantec, Jill spent many years running operations for New Jersey-based Professional Staffers, where she learned how to take risks and manage diverse teams of people.


Jill lives in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and youngest son, her middle son is attending college, and her eldest son works in San Francisco.

Lisa Goldstein, Vice President of Development


Lisa creates and oversees the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising for the REED Foundation for Autism which includes a donor program, major gifts, corporate donations and grant solicitations. She oversees the planning and execution of special fundraising events to generate funds for the organization. Lisa collaborates with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to create a development plan to increase revenues to support the important and vital direction of the Foundation. Lisa monitors trends in the community to identify and develop prospects for the organization’s fundraising priorities.


Prior to joining the Foundation, Lisa was an active donor and supporter of REED. Her early professional career in retail management began as a buyer for Belk Stores and Bloomingdale’s flagship store in NYC. During her tenure at Bloomingdales, she opened its first store in Miami at The Falls, a luxury shopping and entertainment center. Lisa was part of the sales force team at Liz Claiborne, and a buyer for the Indonesian government at their premier showcase store in NYC. Lisa also served on the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Committee for Young Artists.


Lisa lives in North Caldwell with her husband Jonathan and is the mother of Michael, a professional author and writer in NYC and Harry, who attends Emory University. She also is the mother to Teddy her goldendoodle and Myrtle, REED’s staff member.

Jennifer Faust, Communications Director


Jennifer joined REED Academy in 2012 and is proud to be one of the founding staff members of the REED Foundation for Autism. She manages the development of strategic internal and external communications to increase audience engagement. She serves as lead point person on media interactions that help promote and impact the Foundation and cultivates and manages relationships with related vendors and consultants to ensure coverage of programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects.


Jen began her career at The New York and National Law Journals, NYC where she created content for print advertisements in the paper’s Special Sections. She then transitioned her creative skills to writing and producing commercials for the Fort Group, a full service marketing agency. Prior to joining the REED family she worked at Caribiner International, Inc. now known as Jack Morton Worldwide, a global communications company, participating in the management of large scale events such as the British Hong Kong handover to the Chinese government.


Jen lives in Essex Fells with her husband, Ian and three children, Emma, Lexi and Andrew and bunny, Bunard.

Abigail Schimelpfenig, Team Coordinator


Abigail joined the REED Foundation for Autism in 2016 and is proud to be part of such a hard working and dedicated team. Abby is instrumental in daily organization and coordination to ensure efficient operation of the Foundation. She is responsible for managing donations, completing research for various grants, and providing direct support with all fundraisers.


Abigail studied marketing at Siena College in Albany, NY. While earning her degree, she obtained her certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Prior to joining the Foundation, Abigail was the head personal trainer and a group fitness instructor for a small all women’s gym. During her time there, she was responsible for achieving monthly sales goals, providing high customer service, and generating content for their social media accounts and website.


Abigail is getting married in December of 2018 to her best friend, Kamon and they will be living in Oakland with their dogs Roscoe and Appa. Some of her hobbies include hiking, baking, and cooking.
